Hubinar: Innovator Award presentations

A presentation and discussion series with 3 researchers who were successful applicants to the Department's FY2020 Innovator Grants Program cycle. These teams represent the latest wave of research projects exploring and exploiting new possibilities for doing research and providing care virtually - a necessity brought into sharp relief by the COVID-19 outbreak, which has slowed or suspended these activities at many major health and academic institutions. Their award amount was matched by the Tech Hub due to the projects' emphasis on innovation in this regard.

The researchers will discuss the work that led to their successful proposals, their experiences as early adopters of virtual research methods, the current state of their projects, and the successes and obstacles they encountered before and during the outbreak. Aimee-Noelle Swanson will provide background on the Innovator Grants Program.
